Google Search Generative Experience (SGE) offers a unique approach to search results. This experimental technology utilizes generative artificial intelligence (AI) to create a fast, clear overview of search inquiries. The user does not need to click on webpage links to do this.
SGE assists users with search tasks such as:

For instance, if you’re looking for information on the top vacation destinations in the Caribbean, Google would previously direct you to web pages offering this information. GSE provides a list of destinations at the top of the search results page it collects from relevant sources, without referring you to a webpage.
How to Use Google SGE
To access SGE, you’ll need a Google account and Chrome browser, and you’ll need to opt in to use the service. Sign into your Google account and open your Chrome browser. Select the “Labs” icons on the top right of the page, next to your Gmail link.
You can only use SGE on Chrome on a desktop or the Google app on Android and iOS.
GSE is available in the United States and select countries. The service isn’t available in your country if you don’t see the option at the top of the page. After opening the Labs tab, you’ll see the “SGE, generative AI in Search” card. Click on the toggle switch to activate it, and you’re ready to use SGE.
Type your query into the search bar to see AI-generated responses. However, it’s important to note that SGE isn’t currently available for all search queries – it’s a work in progress.
